APT 929 develops and produces film, theater and acting classes as well as workshops, readings, performances, screenings. Established by Clark Middleton in 2004,  APT 929 is dedicated to legacy of actor and writer Joe Chaiken: 929 was his apartment at the Westbeth, NYC. APT 929 has been the company in residence at Torn Page for the past five years, which is a space dedicated to the legacies of Geraldine Page and Rip Torn. APT 929 and Torn Page have created a vibrant community of emerging and established actors, directors and writers.
